As seen from the Earth, a solar eclipse is a type of eclipse that occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, and the Moon fully or partially blocks the Sun.

The solar Eclipse is often visible only from certain geographic regions of the planet for a certain time.

This time the Great Solar Eclipse is going to take place in the Mid-August of 2017.

With an average of 2.4 eclipses happening on our planet in any particular year, what so special about this Eclipse on August??

1. This is going to be the first complete solar eclipse in united states for this 21st Century:

Although United states will witness quite a few eclipses this century, this will be the first complete eclipse in this century. The next eclipse will happen again only on 2024.

2. This Eclipse of 2017 is Exclusively for the North American Continent and the Rest of the world is not going to witness it:

The simulation by NASA Shows clearly the path through which the eclipse travels.

This Eclipse will be visible on August 21 post 10:15 in Morning Across the North America and few parts of south America.

The Oregon State will witness the Total solar Eclipse for a Maximum time of 1 minute and 58 Second

The Rest of the World is not going to witness this historic Event.
